On Saturday, February 21, 2026, Lemvig can look forward to a very special musical evening when Danish rock and blues veteran Henning Stærk takes the stage at TANTE Hotel & Events. With a career spanning more than 50 years, Henning Stærk is a well-known name in Danish music life, loved by audiences for his strong voice, his large repertoire and his presence on stage.
Henning Stærk began his musical journey in 1965 and has since played in a number of bands and projects. He debuted as a singer in the band The Roadrunners and was later a singer in The Poisons, who came second at the 1967 Danish Barbed Wire Championships.
During the 1970s and 80s, Stærk was active in several bands, including Chapter Three, Jackie Boo Flight, Spillemændene and the famous Danish rock band Gnags. In the early 1980s, he began performing with his own band and since then he has released numerous albums and toured extensively.
In addition to his extensive concert activities, Henning Stærk has achieved great recognition during his career. He has received both gold and platinum records and has performed more than 3,000 concerts in Denmark and internationally. In 2023, he marked his comeback with the album Big Boss Man, which was well received by audiences and critics alike.
At the concert in Lemvig, the audience can look forward to an evening of both classic rock and blues numbers and personal interpretations of timeless songs, delivered with the charismatic energy that has characterized Henning Stark’s performances for decades.
